The Super 8 Trailer Looks Pretty Amazing

But it’s hard to not be amazing when Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams are involved. The “Super 8” trailer premiered during screenings of Iron Man 2 and of course found its way to YouTube shortly there after. The film, which is not scheduled to be released until next summer, centers around materials that were being transported from Area-51. Clearly the transport doesn’t go off without a hitch. Check out the awesome (though very ambiguous) trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

The film is speculated to be sort of an homage to Steven Spielberg, which would be very, very cool. Though I’m not how the whole Area-51, probably alien theme pays tribute to the guy, but I’m willing to roll with it.
