Stolen Ride Gets Returned Completely Suped Up
Amanda Pogany‘s 1996 Honda Accord was stolen three years ago. She hadn’t really given her ride much thought until police gave her a call and said that they had found it in Queens. But a few things had changed. More after the jump.
According to the NY Daily News, Amanda’s Accord had a new V-8 engine, tinted windows, hot rims and a valve stem with caps that look like bullet casings. Classy, classy! But those weren’t the only improvements that the thieves made on her car. There were also thoughtful enough to include a new leather interior, a Dominican flag and a giant cross.
Amanda is Jewish.
But despite the somewhat strange circumstances surrounding Amanda getting her car back, she’s pretty excited about all the improvements.
“When I first saw under the hood I thought it looked like, you know in the movie ‘Grease?’ Like the ‘Grease Lightning’ car.”
I think this car might be less Grease Lightning and more “Pimp My Ride.” But either way, that’s pretty dope that her ride was returned to her in even better condition than when it was stolen in the first place. I’d been totally cool with some random thugs taking my car if they promised to return it in awesome condition when they finished.

That’s not a Honda!!! It’s a Chevy Monti Carlo. Amanda should sand blast the paint and sell the rims.
