The Next Bond Movie Gets Postponed Indefinitely

This is about to bum out a whole bunch of avid Bond fans. Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli have announced that the next installment in the James Bond series has been postponed indefinitely. The two released a joint statement saying that:

“Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on Bond 23 indefinitely. We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of Bond 23.”

Seriously?!? The Bond franchise is one of the few movie series that has not deteriorated in utter garbage over the years.
