Man Tries To Gnaw Off Fingerprints After Getting Arrested

This definitely wasn’t your routine arrest. On Sunday night Keith Simmonds Jr. was busted for possession after New Jersey police found a stash of marijuana tucked away in his car. That’s a pretty fast way to kill your Sunday night smoke sesh, and Keith was not about to let that happen. So after police stuffed him into the back of their squad car, Keith managed to maneuver his hands around his body, kick the window and flee while police were busy searching his car. Now whose bright idea was it to leave the druggie in the car unattended?

Anyway, after Simmonds got loose he apparently ran off (police aren’t sure to where) and started to chew off his fingertips. Eww! Yes it’s true. Keith started to gnaw on his fingers in an attempt to get rid of his fingerprints. I guess in theory it was probably a good…no, this was never a good idea. By the time police found Keith his fingertips were all bloodied from where he tried to take a bite out of his crime (Get it? See what I did there?).

Keith is now being held in the Monmouth County jail on $135,000 bail. Not sure if police printed what was left of his fingertips.
