The Greatest Rick Roll Ever (VIDEO)

We’ve all been “Rick Rolled” at one point or another. Whether you were anxiously looking forward to that new Beyonce video or trying to enjoy some old school Hootie and the Blowfish, Rick Astley invaded your YouTube screens with the infectious hit “Never Gonna Give You Up.” But trust me, this video gives a whole new meaning to (and yet another reason to love) rick rolling. More after the jump.

The University of Oregon’s acapella group “On the Rocks” decided to add a little joy to the subway commute of a few dozen straphangers in New York City recently. Rather than belting out some overzealous power ballad or annoyingly strumming on some crappy instrument, they decided to Rick Roll the entire subway car. Genius! While most of the commuters didn’t seem to understand the complete awesomeness of what they were being surrounded by, we can’t help but pray that every time we hop on the subway we might be fortunate enough to get Rick Rolled. Peep the video below and the original version as well.
