Apps On iPads Will Be Completely Awesome

So I’m not going to lie. I was definitely leading the chorus of voices that were hating on the iPad. From it’s terrible name to all the ridiculous hype around it, I was so convinced it was just a glorified iTouch and that I would never, ever, under any circumstances buy one. I think Mixr has made me change my mind.

The multitouch apps that are being churned out for the iPad are pretty sweet. But Mixr is definitely leading the pack, being the coolest I’ve seen so far. The app is similar to professional level DJ equipment, fully capable of “cross-fading, equalizing, cue, drag & drop tracks, and full effects such as delays and auto filter.” It also has a library for all the awesome tunes you bust out so that you can create your own mash ups. The possibilities seem to be endless for what iPad techies might be able to come up with. But this is probably one of the more incredible apps they might come up with.
