Criminal Act or PC Crap?

A mother accepted a plea agreement after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge of exposing a child to harmful material.
During the sex-ed talk Amy J. Smalley had with her 12- and 16-year-old sons she told them about several sexual encounters she had, showed a sex toy, and allegedly described performing oral sex.
One of her sons told the authorities because he did not think it was appropriate.
“I think this is what I’m going to have to do to make everyone happy,” she said.
“That is what I’m being charged with, but that is not what I did,” Smalley said. “I believe I’m not guilty.”
“This whole thing’s been like a nightmare for me and I can’t understand it,” she said.
“This is an internal family matter. … Having the children testify would just be so hard.”
I’d like to think the toy was to illustrate how to put on a condom properly. In all fairness, kids do deserve a better sex talk than their parents’ backs. Don’t kid yourself. There a bunch of kids out there missing out on a proper sex ed.

Yeah, abstinence is the way to go. *rolls eyes* Kids should be educated to make the correct decisions. And if they decide to participate in intercourse responsibly, they should have the proper education. Make sure you never leave Ky. The real world would eat you alive.

Maybe she doesn’t want lots of little grand babies running around her house, or she doesn’t want her sons to contract HIV.
She is a bad mother, her sons should be free to get any of the above. This is America Dammit!!!

Well samantha, while I do agree with you on educating kids on sex, it would be easier to just wait til marriage so they woundn’t have to worry about using a condom. They can have sex all they want then without worrying about contracting an STD and you’d be doing it with the parnter you really care about and not some guy or girl off the street.
That’s what you don’t get.
