Newlyweds Spend First Night Together in the Slammer

This probably isn’t how the bride expected to spend her first night of wedded bliss with her husband. Before the nuptials, the blushing bride, 22-year-old Marissa Ann Putignano-Keene of Hyannis, MA, decided what better way to start her new life than to try to run over her groom’s ex-lover. But why wait until after exchanging vows, so the bride-to-be tried to run over the woman and her son before getting hitched. After failing in her attempt to eliminate the competition, Marissa hightailed it over to Barnstable Town Hall to tie the knot and toast her happy existence over some champagne. But unfortunately for Marissa and her groom, 37-year-old Timothy Keene, the woman was not so willing to let bygones be bygones. She reported the incident to local authorities who charged Marissa with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and charged her passenger seat-riding hubby with disorderly conduct.

The two lovebirds got to spend their first night together in separate cells.
