First American Idiot hits broadway and now this! The classic story of a Wall Street banker who lives a double life a maniacal though utterly hilarious (in a a sadistic sort of way) killer is hitting the great white way. American Psycho, which most of you probably know as the hilariously demented movie starring Christian Bale, is scheduled to hit Broadway in the not so distant future. Duncan Sheik is expected to compose the music, while Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (a writer from Big Love) is going to write the thing.

I’ll be curious to see how they’re going to infuse some musical charm into a dude hacking people into tiny bits and pieces to the sound of crappy 80s music. But success or failure, it should be pretty interesting. But for old time sake, have a peep at Christian Bale hacking up Jared Leto after the jump.
