My, how the mighty have fallen? Ok, so no surprise here that Mariah Carey has been on a definite downswing the last few years (Glitter, marrying Nick Cannon, etc.), but I had a little bit of hope that her somewhat decent performance in Precious was going to mark the beginning of a renewed and more in control Mimi. But, alas, I was wrong, because if Mariah’s slurring speech during the Palm Springs Film Festival is any indication, we all better brace ourselves for the return of one crazy biatch. After winning the award for Best Supporting Actress at the Palm Springs Film Festival for her role in Precious, Mariah sashayed onto the stage, began babbling something about cotton and kittens and offered an apology for being tipsy. She makes a decent attempt at putting together a coherent speech, but her efforts fall flat to say the least. Check out the video and see the singer’s shwastiness.
