Tiger is Chased By a Golf-Club-Wielding Wife, Crashes SUV

Tiger Woods had one hell of a golf-club-wielding, SUV-crashing weekend. The PGA’s wonderboy, just days after being accused of knocking some balls around with New York hottie Rachel Uchitel, crashed his Escalade outside his Florida home. But new reports are surfacing that some of Tiger’s injuries may have come from his wife Elin Nordegren. More after the jump!

TMZ reports that some of Tiger’s injuries were caused by his wife after she confronted him about his alleged affair. According to reports, Tiger told a “non-law enforcement type” that his wife had pressed him about his alleged affair and their conversation turned heated. Elin scratched Tiger’s face causing him to implore the most manly, tough guy tactic possible…fleeing to the safety of his SUV as he tried to get the hell out of dodge.

Tiger apparently didn’t run fast enough. TMZ reports that Elin followed her supposed-philandering hubby outside with a golf club and began to pummel the back of his SUV. Tiger became distracted and hit a fire-hydrant a short distance away.

But as the world waits with bated breath to see if Tiger’s Swedish import tried to knock a little sense (or beat the truth out) of her husband, we all may have to hold our breaths just that much longer. After three failed attempts by the Florida Highway Patrol to interview Tiger about the accident and alleged domestic beatdown, there is still no official statement that has been given to law enforcement about the incident.
