Counterfeit Condoms…Check Those Rubbers

It might be “wrap it before you tap it,” but you my want to reconsider strapping up the little soldiers with Chinese-made rubbers. According to the Times Online, police have raided several condom factories in the Hunan province of China to discover that they had produced condoms that provide wearers with little protection from STDs or getting their partner preggers. China is currently the fourth largest manufacturers of rubbers in the world. Police found that workers in the factories were lubricating condoms with vegetable oil in an unsterilized environment while they performed their duties bare-chested. The factories employed several under-aged girls as well.  Which brands to steer clear of?

The condoms are believed to have been sold under such brands as Jissbon and Durex. So the hunt is now on for more than one million sub-par condoms that are believed to have been distributed across the market. For men looking to sift out which prophylactics could potentially be fake, officials say that a price that’s too good to be true probably is.
