Ten-Minute Clip From “The Carter” Proves Lil Wayne’s Life Is Exactly What You Assumed It Was

Did you see this?  If you didn’t, it’s worth a look: the first ten minutes of the Lil Wayne documentary The Carter.  If you remember, Weezy allowed the film crew to tail him, but after seeing the film edits, withdrew his support for the project.  It’s not really clear why, from this part anyway.  What did he expect?  No one is out there watching thinking, “It sure opened my eyes to see that Lil Wayne travels with a briefcase full of hundreds, pornographic coffee table books, Swishers, and Vitamin Water bottles of cough syrup.  This truly changes my perception of Lil Wayne and the music he makes.”  No.

That part is at 4:17, btw.
