“So You Think You Can Avoid a Sniper?” Delights Japanese TV Viewers

What was the movie in which a bunch of contestants on a reality TV show found out that to win, they’d have to kill each other?  I don’t remember, I never saw it.  I wasn’t standing around at BlockBuster reading “THEY THOUGHT THE PRIZE WAS A MILLION DOLLARS… BUT THE ACTUAL PRIZE WAS A MILLION DOLLARS PLUS NOT DYING” on a VHS case, thinking, I really need to see this.

Regardless, I’d say we in the U.S. are about 100 years away from that type of show, while the Japanese are… let’s say 5 years shy of it.  Because here is a fairly stunning clip from a recent episode of Panic Face King (tune in Tuesdays at 3 AM/ 2AM C!), a Punk’d-style hidden camera show that plays outrageous pranks on unsuspecting victims to see just how psychologically damaged they get!  Really though, I’m no Geneva Convention scientist, but I think this prank, in which a man attends a meeting only to see everyone else in the room be gunned down by a sniper, is more or less Extreme Psychological Torture 101.  After the jump.
