Video: The Best of the 2009 U.S. Pole Dancing Championship

keep your eyes on the pole

Video compilation from the 2009 U.S. Pole Dancing Championship comin’ atcha.  Apparently, this is an event run by the “U.S. Pole Dance Federation.”  I thought the Pole Dancing Championship was in October?  I thought a “federation” was sovereign national unit composed of self-governing states?  Well Christmas came early and words adopt new meanings over time, because how much does it not even matter?  Pole dancing!

These girls do things on a vertical pole that you couldn’t even do on a futon, after the jump.

Why are they pole dancing when there’s nary a George Washington in sight?  Because “Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence is on and that song is the Pavlov’s Bell of pole dancers.  Dancers hear that song and something goes off in the brain like, I need to find a pole or make one RIGHT NOW.  Basically the national anthem of the Pole Dancing Federation.  Sign your kids up!
