Tupac – “The Lost Interview”

he just keeps giving interviews

Apparently VIBE has dug up some old footage of an interview conducted with Tupac Shakur in 1996.  In it, he gets worked up about the suggestion that his west coast partisanship is overly aggressive (“Poppycock!”), and lists all the things he’s done for the east coast rap scene.  I’m not sure if he means it literally, or if he means that the high-profile feud actually boosted the careers of east coast rappers, but if it’s the latter, he’s making an interesting and accurate point.  People come out to see a fight, so much so that sometimes even the losers are winners.

He is also asked where he sees himself in 20 years…
