Douche Impersonator Miles Fisher Unites Lydia Hearst, Talking Heads, American Psycho
Miles Fisher, who cornered a little slice of fame last year for his spot-on, down-to-the-last-thetan Tom Cruise impression in Superhero Movie, has cobbled together an A-OK array of cool-ish mainstream-cult things in the video for his new cover of the Talking Heads‘ “This Must Be the Place.” The video is cheesy reenactment of the hooker threesome scene in American Psycho, and it showcases Lydia Hearst’s hooker-acting talents. If you think about it, it makes sense that a guy who can look exactly like Tom Cruise can also look exactly like Christian Bale.
Anyway, good job to this guy for taking on a Talking Heads song, since hip people f*cking love the Talking Heads and screw-up potential is high. What his cover lacks in adventurousness it makes up in Lydia Hearst wearing lingerie.
