Chris Brown: I’m Finally Ready To Be Sorry For Beating Up Rihanna

did i do that?

Chris Brown, only five months after pummeling his then-girlfriend Rihanna, is already ready to say sorry.  Even though apology or no, various female R&B hangers-on, such as Kanye West ex Amber Rose, have been lining up at Chris Brown’s door, hoping to get a taste of that sweet, delicious backhand for themselves.  Nonetheless, Brown opens the apology, by, in effect, apologizing for not apologizing.  Or rather, by giving an excuse, though he later goes on to say that the last thing he’s here to do is make excuses, dammit.

“Since February, my attorneys advised me not to speak out…

“…even though I wanted everyone to like me again as soon as possible.”

And some other soundbites I maybe edited like,

“I take great pride in me being able to exercise self-control, except for that one time.”

“As many of you know, I grew up in a home where there was uncontrolled violence, and I saw firsthand what uncontrolled rage can do.  So when the time came for me to take out my inadequacies and shame on a weaker person by way of my fists, I knew exactly what to do.”

Here’s the video at TMZ.
