Drunk-driving, kneecapping, redneck wedding sex tapes, and now meth dealing: figure skating really is the female NASCAR. A new scandal has come to light today: last week, Nicole Bobek, former Olympian and winner of the 1995 U.S. Figure Skating Championships,
was arrested at her home in Jupiter, Florida, last week on a charge of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in Hudson County, New Jersey.
She is one of twenty people arrested so far in what is shaping up to be quite the meth ring. To recap: Florida, New Jersey, meth ring, figure skating. Move over U.S.S.R., the Trash Belt has handle on this sport.
