Please Refrain From Amy Winehouse-ing Near the Pool. Thank You.

What’s new with Amy Winehouse?  Well, she’s still alive, and she’s still enjoying her magical island rehab where she gets to be cured of drugs by drinking all the time.

Sadly, on this most festive and pool-party-y of weekends, Amy Winehouse has been banned from her hotel pool.

“She’s regularly drinking large quantities of wine and rum and no one in her condition should be going anywhere near water.”

Yo, if Amy Winehouse swallowed a little chlorine water on accident, it would be the healthiest thing that’s happened to her all year.  

And yet:

Bosses at the Cotton Bay complex in St Lucia were worried by Wino’s latest habit of going swimming after marathon boozing sessions.

They feared she was going to drown so barred the singer from the pool for her own safety.

A source said: “Staff have found Amy on a number of occasions collapsed on the grass by the pool after going for a swim.

“There are concerns that one night she won’t be able to get out of the water and something tragic will happen.

They also – I kid you not – barred Amy from holding court with dogs in her hotel room, because she had a habit of picking up strays to hang out with back at the hotel.  Sounds like its time to move out.  Talk about not getting rock n’ roll, Cotton Bay.
