In what became a startling revelation after Thursdays multiple deaths, the internet has punk’d people once again. Early in the morning it was announced that actress Farrah Fawcett had died. Then later that day musician Michael Jackson went into a cardiac arrest and died of a heart attack. Then the internet started saying actor Jeff Goldblum who starred in the Jurassic Park trilogy, Independence Day, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and Will & Grace had died after falling 60 ft. on the Kuri Cliffs while filming of a scene for his new movie in New Zealand. Only, Jeff Goldblum wasn’t in New Zealand and wasn’t filming a movie.

The World News reported:
The hoax reportedly originated from a the website FakeAWish.com that generates fake news stories reporting the death of celebrities when their names are entered. Entering ‘Jeff Goldblum’ into the site produces news stories under the false agency ‘Global Associated News’ including today’s story.
Jeff Golblum is alive and reportedley onset, however, not in New Zealand, but in New York City. He’s currently working on a film entitled Morning Glory, also starring Rachel McAdams.
