Video: Hilariously Cut-Rate Bear Story = Local News Isn’t Even Trying Anymore

This may take the cake for the most low-budget, producers-clearly-don’t-give-a-f*ck, local-fluff news segment ever made. A bear has been spotted out and about in a Cleveland suburb. The trouble is, no one has filmed the bear and no authorities have seen it.
Might as well use a substitute: “This is what the bear probably looked like… except real.” Witness the death of television news before your eyes, after the jump!
At 0:43, the voiceover intones, “This recreation shows how witnesses say the bear escaped into the woods,” as the hapless anchor in his news suit crouch-runs while holding the fake bear cutout in front of him and moving it up and down. Later that evening, at home, he suddenly stops chopping vegetables to stare at his wrists for almost half an hour, thinking how easy it would be.
Oh, and yeah, it’s real.
