You Can Thank Kim Kardashian for Heidi Montag’s “Playboy” Adventure

If you forgot somehow, Heidi Montag set off for the creaky old Playboy Mansion recently to take a few sexy party pose pictures of her being naked.  But why would anyone want to do such a thing when anyone with even their littlest finger on the pulse of our culture knows that Playboy is a relic of olden days and we’re now in the MILF Hunter era?

I’ll tell you why: because crafty Kim Kardashian put her up to it!  Details and let’s play it one more time with a few shots from Kim’s Playboy foray back in 2007, after the jump.  

“Actually, I was in Mexico and I got a call from Heidi saying, ‘Call me right now,’ ” Kardashian told MTV News on Tuesday (June 16). “So I called her and she had said to me, ‘What do you think? What’s your opinion on if I were to do Playboy?’ “

Kardashian told her to “go for it.”

“I think that now’s the time,” she said. “I think it’s a very classy magazine. It’s artsy. I talked her through the whole process and helped her make up her mind.”

This just confirms what you’ve always suspected: all the celebrities are best friends with each other!

Also, Spencer made her do it.

“Her and Spencer talked it over,” Kardashian said. “They felt like it was the right thing for her to do and I’m anxious to see it.”
