Did John Mayer and Rob Drydek Take a Post-Boozing Hospital Trip?

As I discussed awhile back, there is no reality anymore, only stealth marketing.  Everything you ever put trust in was lies.  I know what you’re thinking: “Not John Mayer.”

I’m sorry, friends.  But even John Mayer.  Last night, he tweeted that he accompanied buddy Rob Drydek from the show Rob & Big to the ER for a little post-game stomach-pumping alcohol-poisoning action.  But now “sources” are saying LOL that’s just John Mayer being his crazy old John Mayer self.  Was the hospital trip real or a prank?   Mayer tweeted like such:

But the night ended with the two stumbling out of the club and, according to Mayer’s Twitter, to a hospital: “In triage at Cedars with @Robdyrdek. When the contents of his stomach hit that silicon bag and we all saw it, we just broke into applause.”

But then a rep from somebody (I’m assuming John Mayer since Rob Drydek probably doesn’t have “people”) said it was all a charade.

Not to worry, Dyrdek didn’t really have to get his stomach pumped. “It was fake, they were just having fun and screwing around for publicity,” a source tells PEOPLE.

Fun and games!  This was like that time David Hasselhoff didn’t actually get drunk or Courtney Love didn’t attempt credit card fraud or Nicholas Cage didn’t star in any of those movies he starred in.

On the other hand, Rob Drydek doesn’t exactly need to cover up when he gets sh*tfaced.  Guy’s not Tom Hanks.  Nonetheless

The skateboarder/reality star was up and running the next day.

I’m sorry but look at that picture again.  The f*ck he was.
