After doing some research [this is in the site FAQ - I feel research probably should have been done perhaps before the product was released to the public], I found the following: Apparently, the plant estrogen in Pueraria Mirifica (the herb in Bust Up Gum) acts at the estrogen receptor sites displacing real estrogen, which is then rendered more or less harmless.  So, in theory, any effects caused by real estrogen are minimized or eliminated (such as cancer of the endometrium).  However, one study found that Pueraria Mirifica taken in large doses (much larger than any human would take) caused the uterus in mice to increase in weight (there were no other adverse effects on the uterus).  Multiple studies have found that Pueraria Mirifica actually prevented breast cancer cells from growing.
