The New Anti-Stab Knife Will End Murder As We Know It

Think about knives for a moment – what’s the worst thing about them?  Probably that they don’t know a liver from a bell pepper.  This leads to a lot of unfortunate stabbings from people not knowing whether they are cutting up their hors d’oeuvre plates or human flesh.  But it looks like someone may have just solved this issue…  

The knife has a rounded edge instead of a point and will snag on clothing and skin to make it more difficult to stab someone.

Mr Cornock, 42, from Swindon, said that the knife will cut vegetables, but will make it almost impossible to stab someone to death and will reduce the risk of accidental injuries.

If you want to stab someone to death, you’ll just have to use a different knife.

He said: “It can never be a totally safe knife, but the idea is you can’t inflict a fatal wound. Nobody could just grab one out of the kitchen drawer and kill someone.”

The knife is expected to sell for around £40-50.

Which is like, almost a hundred dollars.  And so we see an unusual function of economics in which a consumer will actually pay more for a product that doesn’t do something.  The new anti-stab knife: it’s like a knife, but less.
