It's Official: Heidi Montag Will Be in Playboy

Heidi Montag and Playboy: two brands struggling to retain relevance to the all-important “mainstream pervert” demographic.  And now the rumors have been put to rest with a shovel to the head – Heidi’s people told People‘s people that she and Playboy will, in fact, join forces in an unholy alliance.

She has posed nude for the upcoming September issue: “There is nudity. It’s tasteful – she had a lot of fun with it.”  Some pictures for no reason, ATJ:

No word yet on whether God has revoked her prayers for the souls of Spencer Pratt and Patti Blagojevich because of this.

This is a momentous get for Hugh Hefner.  Though he grows weak, he can never die so long as Playboy lives.  Kind of a Sauron and the Ring situation.  Or Jimmy Carter and the Holy Grail.
