David Carradine's Death May Have Been Foul Play

News continues to break on the David Carradine death front.  The 72-year-old actor from ’70s TV series Kung Fu and Quentin Tarantino movies Kill Bill I & II, was thought to have committed suicide on Wednesday.  New details, however, are emerging that contradict this.  Earlier today, some speculated that Carradine was killed in an autoerotic asphyxiation accident – hopefully not, since it would be a shame for him to be remembered that way, like how Michael Hutchence went from being “that guy in INXS” to “that guy in INXS who choked himself masturbating.”

Now, though, it looks like the situation may have been even more sinister:

TMZ:

Chuck Binder, Carradine’s manager, tells us he firmly believes Carradine did not take his own life — nor does he think David died accidentally. Binder says the family has been told Carradine’s hands were immobilized by the rope.

In addition to the rope around his hands, there was another around his genitals.  Thai police have issued a statement amending their initial diagnosis of suicide:

Thai police are now recognizing David’s death may not have been a suicide, by saying, “It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or [whether] he died of suffocation or heart failure.” Police say he could have died from an “accidental suffocation.”

The body has been shipped back to the U.S. for examination, and another TMZ report accuses that the hotel Carradine stayed in has been slow to turn over surveillance videos to the police for investigation.
