Italian Prime Minister Probably Had an Affair with This 17-Year-Old

Oh God, when will these teens stop?  First hugging, then spelling, then oral sex, and now – having affairs with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

Mr Berlusconi, 72, is under pressure to explain his relationship with Noemi Letizia, 18, an aspiring model.

His wife, Veronica Lario, announced earlier this month that she was divorcing him after it was reported that he had attended Ms Letizia’s 18th birthday party in Naples and given her an expensive necklace.

Berlusconi, a philandering, old, and profoundly corrupt politician who sees a comedy routine in every important matter of state, seems more or less to be playing a game in which he figures out exactly what he can get away with before the Italian people turn on him.  But they love him still, because hey, that’s amore!  Pics of the bella ragazza, ATJ.

Berlusconi, of course, denies the affair took place, even going so far as to swear on the lives of his children (the youngest of whom are in their twenties, by the way).  For their part, they have defended him, especially against the remark of opposition leader Dario Franceschini, who asked Italians, “Would you want your children brought up by this man?”

“Angry?” asked Marina, his eldest daughter from his first marriage and chairman of publisher Mondadori, in an interview for Corriere della Sera.

“I am indignant. Furious. No, this is enough. This time, I don’t intend to stay silent. My father has always worked a lot, but there has never been a time, a single time, in which I did not have him near when I needed him.”

Her younger brother, Mediaset deputy chairman Pier Silvio, demanded to know how Mr Franceschini dared make such a “bad taste” remark.

It’s true, Berlusconi has always been there for kids when they needed him (except for at their birthday parties, his wife pointed out).  I have highlighted their impressive positions for you above to demonstrate this.

But photographs later emerged of them together at several social events last year, when she was 17. The prime minister also confirmed that she had stayed at his villa in Sardinia and attended a new year’s party there.
