Jeremy Shockey 100% Fine to Attend Training Mini-Camp and Maybe the After-Party Also

Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey, if you’ll recall, had an exciting Memorial Day weekend, arriving at the Vegas Hard Rock Cafe’s Saturday pool party “Rehab” standing up, but leaving on a stretcher. He had become “dehydrated,” you see. But he’s all watered up again now and “100%” fine to start at the Saints’ training mini-camp on Monday. Says his agent:
Shockey is “100 percent and feeling great. He’s doing fine. You guys [the media] will see him next week.”
When I was a lad of just 18 and heading off for a bit of college, my alma mater’s administration mandated that all incoming freshmen take a little online course called AlcoholEDU. It quizzed us on such handy knowledge as what the only cure for a hangover is. Is it coffee? Advil? Maury? No, indeed. What is it, Jeremy Shockey?
The answer is “time,” friends. Jeremy Shockey just needed a little time.
And now he is 100% fine once again, fine to play this game of mettle and heart, this football, this life. Fine to show up at a club with a name like “Aura” in the middle of the day and put his sunglasses on inside and just get dehydrated as f*ck all over again.

Is that Tara Reid? Because if it is, then he’s definitely aiming high (pun intended).
