Band Tells Walmart To Eff Off!

What band refuses to allow Walmart, the mega giant in music these days because they were asked to release a censored version?
Think you know? Check the answer after the jump>>>

It’s Green Day! The punk powerhouse refused to have the giant retailer force them into censorship and therefore will not be selling their album through the superstore. Frontman, Billie Joel Armstrong was quoted saying:
They want artists to censor their records in order to be carried in there. We just said no. We’ve never done it before. You feel like you’re in 1953 or something.
I mean, he has a point. I realize that Walmart is the mecca for a lot of people these days because their prices are so low and the economy is so terrible, but where do they get off telling someone how to craft their art. I get the feeling this tried and true punk behavior is going to ultimately get Armstrong and his band more album sells anyways. Do people even buy CDs anymore? Just get it online and stick it to the man, ok?

LMAO. Billie Joel Armstrong can say that now when his band is playing stadiums. I bet he would have cut off his right balls to censor his own album if he was just one of the gazillion “never made it” garage bands out there. The fucktard.
I work at a Wal-Mart and have bought CDs from there and they where not censored. I don’t think Wal-mart does that anymore.
