Hippie-Douchebag Tensions Explode at Tucker Max Show

Last night, hippies at Ohio State protested a Tucker Max show that the student union had organized.  The author of I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell (whom we interviewed in February) was delivering a speech about how he and his boys were like getting plaaaastered and like riding a lawnmower and I forget how it ends but the point was that women are stupid.  Most of the OSU audience was like haha broseph that is so right on – but the fun was not to last.  Not if the Womyn and Allies Rising in Resistance had anything to say about it. 

Anna Kinsel, a freshman in history, attended the event for only 10 minutes before she left in tears.

“It was the audience reactions to him,” Kinsel said. “I understand this is a show and people want to be entertained, but the way the audience reacted to his jokes was disgusting. People think the issue is a joke, but it disgusts me.

Well guess what, Anna Kinsel?  Tucker Max does not care if you cry or laugh because the purpose of art is just to make you feel alive for once and sometimes that hurts and confuses you and also women are just crying all the damn time anyway.

“There’s a lot more women in the audience than protesters, right?” Max said. “That says a lot more than I can say. Why would this bother me? What is there to be bothered about?”

Max said this was the first time he had protesters at an event, making it “a big day in [his] life.”

Well feminist womyns, I feel you may have dropped the ball on this one, you know?  For Tucker Max, getting protested is like winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

After Max finished his speech, protesters sat in front of exit doors, forcing the audience to push their way out. Protesters then left the venue and marched to High Street.

The protesters really drove their point home by forcing the audience to literally walk all over them.  Sounds to me like someone had marched to High Street before the show even started.
