Sweet Release: Cat Stevens, Ziggy Marley, Ciara

Here are some compact discs of music that are being released into stores and superstores today.  You can purchase them in the compact-disc aisle of your local Best Buy with all the other dads.  I also heard they’re having a sale at this one place on the internet where you can buy music for free.  I’m just kidding, that’s called stealing.  Would you steal from Ziggy Marley?  Would you steal from Ciara? 

Yusuf Islam (the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens) – Roadsinger: From the record company blurb: “Just when we need him most, Yusuf is back with Roadsinger, an 11-song collection about the evanescent dreams of life and the promise that spiritual fulfillment brings for those who are ready to travel far enough.”  Who will save us in these spiritually depleted times?  Who but freedom-hating Cat Stevens.  Samples here.

Ziggy Marley – Family Time: This is the third solo album of Ziggy, son of Bob.  It also has Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, and Jamie Lee Curtis on it.  In other words, music for drugs.  Samples.

Ciara – Fantasy Ride: You’re going to be hearing half the songs off this album whether you want to or not – from the radio, from the cars of loud girls, from Dove ads.  For instance, when you make love in this club and if you like it, then you should have put a ring on it because how are you supposed to breathe with no air?  What?  Where am I?  Samples.
