Douchebag of the Day: Howard K. Stern Charged with Drugging Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith was no angel, but then again, who is? True, she was a stripper. And yes, she married an old dude and sucked his nutsack for buttloads of cash, but everyone does stupid sh!t in their lives. That doesn’t mean she deserved the ending that she had to her less-than-fairy tale life. Yesterday evening, Anna’s former partner Howard K. Stern was arrested and charged with conspiring to fuel the former Playboy Playmate with prescription drugs.

According to the L.A. County D.A., Stern and two other defendants “conspired to furnish controlled substances to Smith between July, 2004 and January 2007.”

Stern and Kapoor were charged with one count of unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance. Eroshevich and Stern were charged with unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance between June 2004 and January 2007.

Kapoor and Eroshevich were each charged with obtaining a prescription for opiates by “fraud, deceit or misrepresentation.” They were both also charged with one count of obtaining a prescription for opiates by giving a false name or address.

Kapoor and Stern were also charged with one count of “prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict.” Eroshevich was charged with the same crime for separate prescriptions. 

Anna Nicole was drugged by Howard K. Stern, as was Britney Spears by Sam Lutfi. How sad to think that one’s self-esteem was so battered and broken they allowed leeches like these live off them.  Although, really, sometimes a person’s mind can be drugged without prescription drugs. Just look at Rihanna and Chris Brown.

TMZ recently announced that the Barbadian singer will not testify against her alleged batterer, Chris Brown, in court. Unlike Anna, Rihanna (seems) to have lead a very fruitful life. It’s a shame that she’s allowed herself to remain the victim of abuse. Here’s hoping neither Howard K. Stern, nor Chris Brown, get away with the crimes and abuse they each have committed!
