Tribute: Michael Bolton’s Hair

Michael Bolton’s hair turns 56 today, marking five and a half up and down decades of pain and suffering for his head. As a kid, his head was tormented by holding inside lyrics such as these:

“When I’m alone with my fancies, I would be with you;
Weavin romances, making believe they’re true”

It couldn’t stand all the pressure, so his hair sprung out like wildfire and engulfed his troubled head. Over the years, he was able to sing enough cheesy love songs that the lyrics have been able to escape, leaving his head and scalp to more important tasks, like controlling the mess that was his hair.

20 years later, his head has given up. His is balding, using the combover. There is no turning back now, just more incantations of sweet, sweet love lyrics.
