Stuff For Your Other Head: Kindle 2.0

The Kindle 2.0 improves the quality of a portable reader.

This here is my idea of the perfectly romantic Valentine’s Day present.  Maybe it’s not so much for you, but this baby is filled with goodness that I just can’t get enough of.  The guys at Gizmodo did a side by side comparison to check out if the new Kindle is really worth all the hype.

According to them, the display images are way better the second time around.  As well as, more area for storage.  The neat thing about the Kindle is it’s wireless capabilities.  Without having to hook up or pay for a wireless plan you can use the Kindle as a web browser, and as it’s admittedly not the best browser you’d ever want to use, it’d work in a pinch.

So what do you think guys?  Is the Kindle 2.0 worth all the hype or is it just something else corporate is trying to sell you that you’re not even sure you need?

HA… my guy has been wanting to get me one of these for awhile now, because I’m such a super nerdy bookworm. I thought it was stupid at first… but this newer model has me intrigued.

What’s wrong with good old fashioned books? they don’t weigh that much and most you can get from free from your local library

Good old fashioned books are great… and so are libraries. What sucks is when you get 6 books from there and are reading them all at once. Like 4 chapters in this one and 4 in that one, and so on… well… the books take up alot of space where ever they are, and that thing would make it really convenient for people like me. Like I said… super nerdy bookworm.
