Adult Actress Stormy Daniels Running for Senate

Back in 2003, porn actress Mary Carey ran and lost against Arnold Schwarzenegger  in the race for governor of California. More than five years later, adult actress Stormy Daniels is following a similar path. Unlike Mary, however, Stormy claims her venture into politics isn’t a publicity scheme.  Via CNN:

She says she’s planning a listening tour around Louisiana to talk about a range of matters, including the economy — which along with women in business and protection of children are the three issues listed on her Web site. When told Vitter can be a tough opponent, she said she’s “always up for a good fight.”

“I think anyone that knows me … is more than aware of that,” Daniels said. “Politics can’t be any dirtier of a job than the one I am already in.”

The visual I get from that last statements of hers makes me want to close my eyes real tight and pinch my nose, if you catch my drift.

While I may consider myself to be an open-minded person, I can’t say I would want the senator of my state being a porn star. It’s not even because she gets paid to have sex, moreso as the fact that porn is as much a facade as ethics and morals play into politics. Anyone who endorses the myth that women are sexually satisfied from being jackhammered does not get my vote.
