Name: Olivia Wilde (real name Olivia Jane Cockburn– teehee)

Background: Born in New York City, she is the daughter of 60 Minutes producer and journalist, Leslie Cockburn, and her father, Andrew Cockburn is a famous Irish journalist. Her aunts and uncles are also writers. She attended acting school in Dublin, Ireland.

Where you’ve seen her: Most famous for current role as a bisexual……nicknamed Thirteen on Fox’s House M.D., Olivia first on-screen role was in 2003 series Skin. Since then, theactress has appeared in “Girl Next Door,” The OC, “Alpha Dog,” and “Turistas.”

On being known for playing bisexuals: “Most times my name is mentioned in any sort of magazine, it has to add, ‘known for playing the bisexual.’ And now, after House, it’ll be, ‘known for always playing the bisexual. “

About being a handful growing up:  “Once I took a bus from my home in Maryland to Philadelphia to live on the streets with some musicians for a few weeks, and then my parents sent me to boarding school at Andover to shape me up. ”
