EXCLUSIVE: F-Listed Q&A w/ Tiffany Claus

Tiffany Claus.  You may recognize her face, but not the name. A professional Angelina Jolie impersonator, Tiffany has appeared in a slew of publications, including Maxim, Stuff, Time, Marie Claire, Us Weekly, and People magazines.  And her notoriety doesn’t stop there.

The 28-year-old Maryland native has made TV appearances on Chelsea Lately, The Tyra Banks Show, Live with Regis and Kelly, and Family Feud.  Tiffany has even made it to the silver screen with an acting gig in 2008’s “Meet the Spartans,” where she played who else but Angelina Jolie.

A graduate of Maryland State University, Tiffany sang opera and studied Art and Design with Painting before she pursued a career as a professional impersonator.

The model/actress was kind enough to answer some exclusive questions on her career, what sexiness means to her, and whether or not she considers shows like A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila and Rock of Love with Bret Michaels a CDC threat or new-age feminism.

It should go without saying that youʼre career choice is not the most common. How and at what age did you become a professional Angelina Jolie impersonator?

I began in 2005. I was 25yrs old.

How many times have passerbyʼs asked for your autograph thinking you were the actress herself?

People don’t stop me as often thinking that I am her but the most common thing I get is people saying “wow, you really look like Angelina.”

I truly am fascinated by your job. Would you care to tell us more about it? You recently played Angie in the spoof comedy “Meet the Spartans.” Did you enjoy your

time on set?

It was surreal and exciting for sure. I loved everything about the movie making experience, even though it was excruciatingly hot there in New Orleans in august.

Is mainstream Hollywood acting something that interests you?

Yeah, I really enjoy acting and I’d love to do more of it if that comes my way. I’m not pushing it to happen but if it happens I will gladly embrace it.

Thereʼs no question how beautiful you are, which begs the question: Do you ever wonder if men date you because of you or because they want to satisfy their fantasy of

being with Angelina?

That has never been an issue for since I’ve been with my husband since I was in high school. I have never been on the dating scene which I’m grateful for because who knows, nowadays that might be why guys would want to date me.

Do you do modeling outside of the character youʼve adopted to portray? What would your response be to cynics who say youʼve altered your looks surgically to

more closely resemble Angelina Jolie?

The only modeling I’ve done has been since I’ve started this career so usually when I’m hired for photoshoots it is for some sort of Angelina concept piece.

The comments people come up about my resemblance range from typical to bizarre so I’m getting used to people flat out assuming that I’ve done something to alter my appearance which is really sad because I haven’t had to do anything to look like her. I was born this way and there is always a price that comes with being successful or attractive.

On a scale of one to 10, how close would you say you look like the 33-year-old mother of six? (One being the most far removed, and 10 being the closest in likeness.)

I truely can’t answer that because I only see me when I look at my pictures so I just go by what people say. The general reaction I get is that maybe I fall somewhere between 7/8ish?

A notorious Hollywood bad girl, itʼs no secret Jolie experimented with bisexuality and

street drugs, such as heroine. Have you ever experimented outside the box yourself?

I’ve experimented but not with anything heavy like heroine.

Do you ever see yourself becoming a mother? If so, will you be following in Brangelinaʼs footsteps and adopting kids from all around the globe?

I already am a mother of two. I had my first child the same week Maddox was born; so Angelina and I became mothers for the first time at the exact same time. I had my daughter just a few months before she adopted her second child, Zaharra. There’s a weird connection between our lives. I would adopt but with no nannies to aid our family two kids are enough of a hand full for us at the moment. Any more would tip the boat.

Before becoming a successful impersonator, before spending time on movie sets, what was it you dreamt of becoming?

I sang opera growing up and I oil paint, so no, acting wasn’t what I imagined I’d be doing.

Would you describe yourself as more of a girly-girl or a tomboy growing up?

I was an odd mix between the two. I was wearing makeup young all while riding bikes in the dirt and exploring the mountains in my backyard. I don’t know which category I’d fall into.

On your MySpace you say you want to meet Tyra. But what male celebrities would you like to meet? (And by “meet,” I mean, “have a romantic rendezvous with in an ideal

world.”)

I actually have met Tyra. But a male celeb I’d most like to meet I guess is either Hugh Jackman or Matt Dameon.

What part of your body do men normally find most attractive?

Well, they can’t seem to look away from my mouth area so I assume they are thinking something along those lines.

What part of the male body do you find most attractive?

I’m not into looks so much as I am whats hidden….the two things I am most attracted to in a man are contained within their skull and their boxers.

What do you look for in a partner?

#1 is humor. #2 intelligence, #3 good in bed.

Do you consider yourself sexy?

I feel sexy.

What is the definition of sexy according to you?

Being able to know how to please yourself and go for what you want in life and in general.

What is one thing every man should know about women?

To get a woman to do anything all begins with making her feel that she is adored. Always put us on a pedestal and we will do anything to make you happy.

Itʼs been a bad day. Cocktail in hand, you search your iPod for that one song that always makes things right again. You push Play. What song are you listening to?

“Lets Dance” by David Bowie one minute, the next, it’s Lil Wayne “Lollipop.”

Would you consider yourself a politically-opinionated person? Is there any candidate that youʼre rooting for this presidential election? If so, why?

I am much more of a political person than it seems angelina is as she is very much only humanitarian oriented. I am certain I’ll be voting for Obama. Our country has been in a slump for the last few generations with a small intermission of a couple decent presidents. I dont’ know if Obama is the answer to fixing the oil crisis and the war on “terror” but I am confident that he’s got more going for him than his opponent.

What do you think of shows like A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila and Rock of Love with Bret Michaels– CDC threat or new-age feminism?

I think those shows are hilarious. I rarely watch TV but I do recall a lot Sunday nites staying up to watch flavor of love and rock of love for the sheer trashy entertainment value. I couldn’t get into “A shot at love” though. It just didn’t hold my attention. I don’t have anything against bisexuality but that show was boring. At this point in our culture everything is catered to both men and women and exploiting women’s sexuality has always been a part of our society so those show just reinforce the continuum of female sexual exploitation that we all just can’t help but encourage.
