Hereos star Hayden Panettiere is one determined girl. In an attempt to end whaling worldwide, the 18-year-old has set up an auction via eBay to raise money for The Whaleman Foundation to help “Save the Whales Again!”
The auction, which started yesterday evening, offers fans the chance to experience a “once-in-a-lifetime experience with Hayden.” The person with the highest bid will dine at Eva Longoria’s Spanish fusion restaurant, where photographs will be taken of the winner with Hayden.
Additionally, the winner will attend a private whale-watching tour off the coast of Santa Barbara with Hayden.
Animal-lover Hayden Panettiere is offering fans the chance to win a “once-in-a-lifetime experience with Hayden” and help save the whales on this new website. The ‘Heroes’ starlet is inviting bids for two special prizes to raise cash to ‘Save the Whales Again!’.
Hayden said of her endeavor, “It’s simple, if we save the whales, we can save the world. Please join us in our fight to save these beautiful creatures and preserve the quality of life in this world for our children and generations to come.”
She added, “My mission is to end whaling worldwide, while raising public awareness to all the other threats dolphins and whales face. Dolphins and whales are the barometer to the health of our oceans. As go the dolphins and whales, so go the oceans, and then so goes life on earth.
I’d like to meet one person who doesn’t like this chick. Anyone? Anyone? That’s what I thought. You go girl!

I am all for saving the whales and porpoises if they are endangered. If they aren’t, I say, no problem. What’s the difference between a whale and a cow?
