Music Mondays: Exit Festival

It’s times like this where I wish I had the luxury to just pick up and fly halfway across the glow all the way to Novi Sad, Serbia just so I could attend a music festival. Not only would I get to say I’ve been to Serbia (who? what? where? when? why? how?), but the lineup for Exit Festival isn’t half bad. As a matter of fact, it’s actually quite diverse.

Bands include N*E*R*D, Roni Size Reprazent, Manu Chao, M.I.A., The Hives, and Gogol Bordello, among others. I seriously would let any one of these musicians blow their load on me, that’s how much I love them. Especially Manu Chao.

But the biggest surprise of them all — The motherf^cking Sex Pistols. Now I’m all for some old school punk rock, but these ninnies were nothing but a bunch of f^ck ups until manager Malcolm McLaren got a hold of them. That’s when they were singlehandedly designed into a punk bad. They’re nothing but a boy band with bad manners.

To think The Clash’s Joe Strummer is dead and these tools are still playing breaks my heart and makes my vagina cry. Sometimes life just isn’t fair. I’d love to attend Exit Festival, but I’d kill to see The Clash perform live.

If you could see any deceased musician/band perform one last time, who would it be and why?
