Former NBA star Dennis Rodman — ex-boyfriend to Madonna and Carmen Electra — was arrested last night on suspicion of felony domestic battery.

According to police, there was blood and bruising among the evidence. Rodman, 46, was released today at 4:16 a.m. on $50,000 bail.

Rodman’s manager issued the following statement about the altercation between Rodman and his girlfriend.

“Last night Dennis and his girlfriend had too much to drink. When they returned to their hotel they started arguing and a minor altercation broke out where Dennis grabbed her by the arm and left a bruise.”

Oh, well then… so long as they were both drinking then it’s okay. I mean, who doesn’t like to get slapped around every once in a while?
