Now that Madonna’s 49-year-old poon is getting dried up and old, she worries that the publication of her 1992 book “Sex” led people to brand her an exhibitionist who is only famous for taking off her clothes.
The strap-on buyer, however, insists that she was in fact a prude during her youth, especially while she was married to bad boy Sean Penn.
She says, “I really was not getting up to much. I don’t think I was as naughty as I could have been. I was quite straight. I was a geek when I was that age. I did not really do much that was interesting. I hope that’s not the only thing that I’m identified with – taking off my clothes. I have done other things. There’s a lot more to being Madonna than taking off your clothes.”
Bitch, you should have thought of that before you marketed yourself that way for decades! The idea that others branded her an exhiobitionist is laughable.

Everything this chick ever did was as phony and calculated as these MTV reality shows. Her music was this simplistic phony lip-synched crap, her fake street-girl outfits were no different than Michael Jackson’s gloves and jump suit, and her hokey SEX book was psuedo-porn that was taken as a bad joke at the time.
She was never interesting to anyone who actually liked music. She was a marketing phenom just liked Britney, aimed at the lowest common denominator.
And considering that Paris Hilton and Kim Fatassian both are actually on film sucking dicks, her phony book is even further from cutting-edge or relevant.

Nice article. But hey, it’s what made her who she is. She promoted/marketed a part of her life that people usually hold either privately, behind close doors, or what they wanted vicariously live threw her. Obviously there’s more to being Madonna than just taking off her clothes but back then, that wasn’t what was making my young tweedy bird fly! Sex sold and she paved they way for it commercially. She should be proud. It made her a lot of money too.

This is very amusing that so many people get sucked into this boondoggle for the unintelligent. Madonna is a marketer. A very successful one at that. Her failures that so many people gossip about are merely experimentation on her part. That’s all. She is making a living and a good one at that. I typed Madonna into google and there are endless pages about her. Using terms like phony, calculated… are quite accurate. By talking and gossiping about her you are merely making untold thousands of dollars for he and she doesn’t have to lift a finger this is exactly what she wants you to do. Personally I don’t know her, never met her, never will and don’t care to. However one thing I can honestly say is I will never enjoy the level of success she has because I am not willing to take the chances she has. So I salute her and wish her much continued success! She is a brilliant marketer that has guaranteed her immortality in the digital and real world. The public’s perception of Madonna is all “Staged”. Who Madonna really is, is only known by those she chooses to know her.
