More Details on Eliot Spitzer’s ‘Kristen’

Eliot Spitzer’s ‘Kristen’, real name Ashley Alexandra Dupré, is quite the topic of conversation these days. And that’s exactly how she wants it.

As I read about her this morning on The NY Daily News website, it occurred to me how thrilled Ashley must be right now. After all, everyone is talking about her and she knows it. She finally got the attention she’s been longing for.

Once the story broke, Dupré curiously failed to privatize her MySpace page, and instead left the cryptic message: “Yeah, I did it.” Homegirl was proud. Her emotions finally got the better of her when she changed it to, “Thank you all for your support, it means alot to me” and lastly, “What destroys me, strengthens me.”

But who is Ashley Alexandra Dupré? According to her boss Jason Itzler, she was a workaholic who did her “thing” six days a week and was so good she was sometimes called in for doubles. Yowza.

“She thrived on it, like a fish in water,” he said. “Almost like an actor on stage on Broadway. Alive, you know?”

The “failed R&B songstress,” as the media has put it, isn’t your average call-girl. Not only is she a hard worker, she’s a talented one at that.

Dupré also had relations with Charlie Sheen some years ago when her and another call-girl dressed up as cheerleaders for a night of role playing. You know that that means: threesome. I wouldn’t doubt it if Dupré was bisexual. That shit would be hot as f—.

Nightlife snitches said Dupré rubbed shoulders with celebs such as music producer Jermaine Dupri, and described her as a club rat with “amazing clothes” who was load with money.

She began working for Itzler back in 2004 when she was 19-years-old and she caught his attention at the Gansevoort Hotel. He handed her his card, and the rest, as they say, is history.

After her first date, Itzler claimed, he rewarded her with a $2,000 pair of Manolo Blahniks – the favored footwear of Sarah Jessica Parker’s character on “Sex and The City.”

“I used to get e-mails [that said] ‘Now I can die happy,’” Itzler said of Dupré, who came to Manhattan pursuing a musical career before a random hotel lobby encounter changed her life.

“This was probably the sexiest, hottest girl I had,” Itzler said. “She’s no joke. She’s an awesome, awesome, supercool girl.”

The media has also managed to dig up old classmates of Dupré’s from her New Jersey hometown who shared information we could have gathered ourselves. She drank underage and had a “bad reputation.”

And as I read all this I realize something: I kinda like Ashley Dupré. Granted I don’t know her or anything, but the girl is holding her head high through this whole thing and that’s one thing I respect. She’s not going to play the role of the victim, regardless of what anyone says of her.

Or maybe I’m just reading into things. Perhaps I am. But had it been me I would have privatized my MySpace and crawled back to mama. But as I study this information about her, I realize she’s a fighter.

She left a broken home (mentioned in another publication) and built a name for herself. Sure it was prostitution, but she was a hard worker and that counts for a lot in my book. She also stood up for herself when Spitzer demanded unprotected sex. I’ve yet to hear anything about her being a b*tch and the fact that she had a “bad reputation” in high school doesn’t phase me. So what if she did? That doesn’t mean she has a cold heart or no brain.

So Ms. Dupré, if you’re somewhere out there reading this, I’d love to hear from you. If only just to hear the stories you have to tell. I’m sure witnessed some pretty interesting things in your day.
