As should have been expected, Ashlee Simpson’s queer boyfriend, Pete Wentz, has decided to make more than just shitty music, but own a shitty “punk-rock themed” hair salon too.
The Clandestine Industries Salon will be located in his hometown of Chicago with Ben Mollin, from reality TV show ‘Shear Genius’, as head stylist. (Salon applicants click here.)
Amazingly enough people have already booked reservations at the salon, which expects to open in late April. Trust me, I know. I called just to make sure I didn’t have a reservation on accident.
SMH. This has got to be one of the gayest ideas ever. If this is rock n’ roll, then count me out.

I think it’s shite. Why do celebrities feel they have to branch out and own the world? And why do these people feel like they must further mislable different aspects of culture. Seriously, neither of them are “punk” or “rock”. Punk is Dead Kennedys. Rock is Led Zeppelin. They are pop, with hints of either of the two at most. That said, they should get bent.
