The World’s First Floating Golf Course … Awesome!

Admittedly, I’ve never played golf. Not that I haven’t wanted to, I just never got around to it. But this may just reignite my interest. A floating golf course? Sign my unathletic ass up! Find out more after the jump.

The brainchild of Waterstudio.NL, Dutch Docklands and Troon Golf, the world’s first floating golf course will be situated just five minutes from the Maldives airport. The 18-hole course will be solar powered and include a bunch of luxurious accommodations. And if that wasn’t enough the holes and facilities will be connected through a series of underwater tunnels. Are you serious?!? That is awesome! Once I Goggle Maldives and finally figure out how to get there, it’s on!
