WTF?!? Duane Reade Is Serving Up Beer Now?

Well, I guess it was only a matter of time before Duane Reade got in on the booze. I mean Starbucks did it, why can’t they right? Find out where you can get your drink on while picking up your prescription after the jump.

Before you get all excited, you’ll have to head to Williamsburg in Brooklyn to get a glimpse of the bar/Duane Reade mix. In order to attract customers in BK, the pharmacy chain decided to tack on a beer bar where customers can fill up their growlers to their heart’s content. There are eight different beers available for patrons to choose from.

I think this idea should spread like wildfire to every other location. A beer bar at ever Duane Reade in the U S of A. That would be awesome!
