Ashlee Simpson is pissed because her debut video “Outta My Head” didn’t receive the fanfare she was looking for.
Unfortunately for the tortured artist, everyone was talking about jailbait Jamie Lynn Spears having gotten knocked up.
“Ashlee can’t believe this happened. She’s so disappointed,” said a source.
“Her sister, Jessica, grew up in the shadow of Britney; it took years for Jess separate herself from her. How ironic that Ashlee’s big day ends up spent in the shadow of Britney’s little sister,” said the family friend.
Ashlee’s rep adds: “[It’s] absolutely not true [that she's dissapointed]. She is very happy with the video and the great feedback it has been getting. She only wishes Jamie Lynn well.”
Poor, Ash. She must’ve taken the news real hard. Can you imagine after all those years of living in the streets, not being able to find a record label to take her under her wing. No one appreciates all she’s had to go through to get to the top.
She’s the modern-day Kurt Cobain.
