Drugs Are Cool
December 6th, 2007

Amy Winehouse doesn’t even try and cover up her drug usage anymore. It’s really freaking sad, actually. Here she is wandering the streets of London probably looking for an 8-ball.
Personally, I’ve never done cocaine because this exactly how I figured I’d end up. Why do uppers when you can stick to hallucinogens? You never hear of anyone’s life falling apart because they’ve done acid or like to smoke a joint or two after work.
On the bright side, Wino received six Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year. Woo! I love that damn album of hers. She said of her nominations, “I’m honored to have my music recognized with these nominations,” as told to UsWeekly. “This is a true validation from people I respect and admire.”
The nominations are great and all, but it will be quite the bitter-sweet ending if her flame were to fade away early.
